Beginners Botanical Collage Workshop
No date currently listed for this workshop.
If you have a group of 4 lets start a date around you. Make this a private event, cater your own lunch, enjoy a bushwalk and a sunset drink overlooking the paddocks before you depart.
What We do:
This full day covers all the technical info and materials, and includes framing up your finished piece ready to hang. This Workshop is comprehensive - start to end.
You will leave with all the info you need to go on and produce your own collage masterpieces.
Our workshop is designed to give you independence and creative freedom ( so not everyone’s needs to look the same) and the knowledge to use once you get home ( so you can keep building on what you have learnt).
The format involves an easy to follow along process, as each student can be given individual support and have Fi’s skilled teaching, adapted to their needs.
Each participant will choose from a selection of Fi's images to replicate. More experienced students may choose to build on what they see, introducing their own ideas to the composition, mixing their colours and making their own aesthetic choices.
Raw beginners are completely able to achieve a great outcome.
AIMS OF THE WORKSHOP:
Discover the joys and ease of this great, accessible medium.
Complete a ready to frame and hang piece. *
Up skill our design, layout and construction knowledge.
Learn about fool proof colour mixing techniques.

Fi's art experiences are designed to give you a positive and confidence building outcome while introducing you to techniques that you will be able to continue to work with independently. Everything is included unless otherwise stated - no expensive materials lists or purchases to make. They are known for being low stress, joyful occasions and a great way to spend time with a group of friends or family.
We offer workshops for groups of 4 to 8 people at Toot Studio in Margaret River, or 16 people in larger spaces. The number of participants may affect the duration of the workshop. Larger school group sessions will require additional studio assistants to be present (class teachers).
