MRROS Short Workshops 2026
Wildflowers and Wildlife Collage Workshops.
Join us for an after hours workshop at Toot Studio during the 2026 Margaret River Region Open Studios. All the materials, instruction, templates, guidance and framing are supplied...in a small group setting complete with a glass of wine and nibbles at the end.

$5 Discount per ticket when purchasing 2 or more tickets .
Simply choose your session time - Then choose the project you will make and let us know via the contact form so we can have your materials ready for you on arrival.

There are 4 different images to choose from during the session.
Enjoy the flexibility to make your own choices of hand printed papers, colours, ideas to work into the design you replicate.
1. Hello Gorgeous (2/5 level of difficulty)
Create a framed and ready to hang image of the iconic Red Tailed Black Cockatoo.
2. Maggie Moments (1/5 level of difficulty)
Create a framed and ready to hang image of the iconic Australian Magpie surrounded by abstract Australian Botanical inspired shapes and colours
3. Willy Wagtail Flowering Gum (3/5 level of difficulty)
Create a framed and ready to hang image incorporating the Flowing Gum and the busy Willy Wagtail
4. NEW Wildlife and Wildflowers (4/5 level of difficulty)
Create a framed and ready to hang Splendid Wren surrounded by the Wildflowers and orchids found locally.
During this workshop: You'll be introduced to a fantastic medium, painted paper collage which is great for 'raw' beginners and those with existing creative skills.
You'll laugh and relax and meet other like minded people looking for an accessible way to develop, connect or even start up.
You'll take home skills you can keep working with.
We prioritise creating a supportive, energetic, confidence building environment.
This session is perfect for small groups of family or friends. (request your own private time slot if you have 4 to start).
Is this for you?
No skills are required, you just need an ability to follow instructions in English and the physical dexterity and eyesight to use scissors and glue.
**We aim to make this workshop as accessible as possible so if you have any physical constraints please let us know in advance and we can tweak the workshop for you.
This is a small group session so Fi is on hand to help you where and when needed.

Fi's reputation as an artist and teacher has been growing since she started offering workshops during Open Studios 13 years ago. Her work can be found around WA, and internationally, she has worked on public art commissions, in class rooms in remote towns and communities and is often the inspiration for many primary and secondary art classes.

**Please note our small group Cancellation Policy:
During MRROS, a min number of 4 participants is required to run these sessions. If the session is not subscribed to, your booking will be refunded in full and a notification sent 24 hours prior to the time slot.
Due to small group logistics/ advance preparation and limited resources we have strict cancellation policies-
We appreciate your understanding.
As sessions are often fully booked and sold out please keep intouch early if you need to change your plans.
$50 admin fee for late cancellations / less than 7 days prior to date. Sorry no refund for cancellations less than 48 hours in advance.
We work up close with others - so please do not attend if you are unwell.
If Toot Studio needs to cancel a full refund and a complimentary gift voucher will be received.
Fi's workshops are designed to be accessible for participants of various abilities and levels of experience.
If you have 4 people that would like to attend you can select a date to suit you. We usually need 2 - 4 weeks advance booking. If a date already exists, you are welcome to join the group if there is space available. If you would like to hear about workshop availability please join our mailing list and keep an eye out on social media channels.
For larger groups or groups in special locations, Fi is happy to design a workshop for your group, this might be suited to a theme or personal ability. Yes we can travel to you. Price on application.
Fi's art experiences are designed to give you a positive and confidence building outcome while introducing you to techniques that you will be able to continue to work with independently. Everything is included unless otherwise stated - no expensive materials lists or purchases to make. They are known for being low stress, joyful occasions and a great way to spend time with a group of friends or family.
We offer workshops for groups of 4 to 8 people at Toot Studio in Margaret River, or 16 people in larger spaces. The number of participants may affect the duration of the workshop. Larger school group sessions will require additional studio assistants to be present (class teachers).
