Fi is an established and well respected workshop facilitator. Her strong reputation working in communtiy engagement visual arts programs, comes from her lively and dynamic teaching style and her generosity to share what she has learnt along her way.
She connects readily with participants, thru play and experimentation and demonstrates her trial and error approach, building confidence, delivering experience and offering insight into what it means to work in a truely creative and intuitve, personal way.
As a teacher, she passionately believes in the power of developing our creative confidence and capacity for self expression, to not only improve our personal experience of life but to build better communites and ultimately a better world in which to live.
"Every child draws and begins to learn to understand the world around them using their mark making, story telling and building instincts - We have all been born with a deep creative capacity, some of us just let this slip away, lost track of time or lost our path, so encourageing and upskilling others to confidently reconnect with this part of them, in a light and playful way, is why these sessions exist.
Finding our own visual style, and giving it our own voice, is one of the most empowering acts we can perform. If we gift ourselves the opportunity and time to strart to do it - who knows what we might discover! This is what I strive to do with participants of the reset sessions - to help them to loose the fear, sidestep the procrastination and to just begin where they are with what they have".
These sessions are perfect for small groups of family or friends. Restarters, new beginners and lapsed artists all find these valuble. You are welcome to request your own private time slot if you have 2 people to start.
