We work with the premiss - "No judgement, no fear, start where you are with what you have!"
Please note this is not a class but a group.
For beginners - come early at 5 - 5.30 pm for some tips $10 pp.
Payment options:
Please book online if you can -
Option 1- Term block of 8 sessions $20 per session ($160 for the block) - these pre booked spots and will reserve a spot or easel for you. They are transferable to other participants if you cant make it - as long as they are used within the term dates. * BONUS wind up event at the end of term
Option 2 - Pay for a single ticket as you go online to reserve and confirm your seat $25 Booking in advance includes basic art materials for you to use. Choose your spot when you arrive. Limited space in the studio means there will be space for you.
Option 3 - book ahead for Beginners tips at 5pm $10 online or pay cash when you arrive.
Option 4 - Pay cash on the day $30 pp includes basic art materials - you might like to call ahead to confirm there is space for you. (0415955707) No booking required BUT equally due to limited space / no seat confirmed.
*A special word of thanks for those who commit to the term booking option - you will become the core group that helps to ensure that we can commit to our life models in advance and everyone can plan ahead - AND we can keep the group running all term no matter how many people turn up. It has been my experience in the past that there is always alot of enthusiasm at the start - which can dwindle off - leaving the organiser to cover the model fees alone! I can't offer that as the model is paid $50 per hour for her experience. * I would like to offer our term ticket holders a wind up event at the end as thanks for your support and commitment to the idea.
**We need 6 people to purchase term block tickets before I can confirm the dates
EDIT - Numbers and models confirmed for the term
Art Materials:
You are welcome to BYO materials to work with or bring nothing and play with ours.
Ideas for you to try: Why not try Oils, watercolour, pencil, acrylic, inks and maybe some different kinds of surfaces, old books, ripped paper, clay, brushes, fingers, sticks to use as your mark making tools.
We will supply some basic materials for those beginning - charcoal, butchers paper, pencils and pastels. There are some easels available, chairs and drawing boards with bull dog clips. Some people will stand or sit in a chair or on the floor - its up to you.
You will be able to learn from others and ask questions at the end but this is not a class and some people do prefer to work privately.
This is a respectful and private event created for those genuinely interested in life art. There will be zero tolerance of inappropriate behaviour. No photography or recording without permission.
BYO refeshments.

For larger groups or groups in special locations, Fi is happy to design a workshop for your group, this might be suited to a theme or personal ability. Yes we can travel to you. Price on application.
Fi's art experiences are designed to give you a positive and confidence building outcome while introducing you to techniques that you will be able to continue to work with independently. Everything is included unless otherwise stated - no expensive materials lists or purchases to make. They are known for being low stress, joyful occasions and a great way to spend time with a group of friends or family.
We offer workshops for groups of 4 to 8 people at Toot Studio in Margaret River, or 16 people in larger spaces. The number of participants may affect the duration of the workshop. Larger school group sessions will require additional studio assistants to be present (class teachers).
