What We Do:

Build your own pet Portrait ( dog or cat) choosing from Fi's fool proof body bits, buffet.

A 23x23cm framed image is completed with the traditional Victorian style circular cut out mount and rear mounted portrait. Shapes and colour surrounding your portrait may tell a story of your subject, display their favourite activities or compliment their fur.

This framed ready to hang unique art piece will be completed within the time frame. - 2.5 hours

Short, tall, hairy or sleek, Fi has created  a vast selection of pre printed papers, with textures, and  colour to build your composition.

You can choose to replicate one of Fi’s designs and add your own personalised elements. Creating a unique piece to gift or keep.    It’s all up to you!
Everything is supplied including the frame and the templates - allowing even the most ‘non Arty’ of us to relax and thrive during the 2.5 hour session.

Our work space is light and bright and colourful and a joy to create in.

Fi adjusts her teaching and support to each participants needs and the small group session allows you plenty of access to one on one help if you need it.

How we work :

You will be able to  follow Fi's step by step design process, guiding you through the different stages, explaining materials, learning about colour and composition and key elements that will make or break a successful image.

Where:

Fi’s home studio in Margaret River or her new space at Stackwood Studios in Fremantle are both available for these sessions.

WHY:

Building our confidence around using our creativity is easier when we find joy in what we are doing. Laughter and play remind us that we can all make and create - and this project session is a perfect way to engage our imagination and take time out from the usual life stuff. Discounts are offered when booking for 2 or more participants.

Painted paper collage is a really accessible medium. Fi will give you the tips on how to create dynamic illustrations. Learn about illustration and about what makes a great design.
Take home your new skills - and keep creating! Fi’s practical knowledge, advice and experience  has proved invaluable to dozens of her workshop participants. Fi will ensure that even those of us with the rawest of skills will be able to take home a great result.

The group size is kept small so you will have plenty of opportunity to work with Fi if you need it - this is an activity for those that want to learn, are keen to develop new skills or want to learn more about how to develop their existing creative skills. Laughter and relaxation are core components  to these sessions
