Series : Wander Out Yonder

"There are over 1000 different varieties in Australia and the plant has deep cultural significance for Indigenous Australians as a food, for medicine and for making tools. The symbolic nature of the plant is used to represent new beginnings (1st September is Wattle Day - Beginning of Spring) and for remembrance.

In my work, I am aiming to develop a simplified and concise way of communicating a complex idea. Many of Australia's flowering plants are so complex that this can be a real challenge. Balancing the idea, the composition and the style I have developed to express myself.

This design references  the first signs of Spring found in the bush near where we live - the daily grey  green of Winter is, all at once suddenly shaken off and all you seem to see in the landscape is the pops of bright yellow”.

Nb The smallest size print fits straight into 35 x 35cm IKEA Sannaed  square frames using the white mount included. The larger size (50c x 50cm) of frame can also be used for a budget framing of the largest size by adding a mount to fit - easily ordered from your local framer.

Wander Out Yonder Series: This series has been created using painted paper collage. Fi first creates a mixture of colours and textured papers and then hand cuts the shapes, free hand, constructing the subjects from memory and sketchbook observations. She  uses reference book photographs to correctly observe the bird/ animals she is studying.  The original images are photographed and then reproduced.

Our print and photographic partners  are locally owned and operated and support the highest quality product philosophy.

We use only high quality archival inks, some times known as Giclee prints and Canson fine art papers and canvas.

Custom sizes may be available in addition to sizes listed but it depends on the size of the original art work and the size of the digital file. Please enquire.

If you order your print on canvas, you will need to have it stretched and framed at your local picture framers. The surface has already been treated with a UV coating for extra protection. Your canvas will be rolled and posted to you.

A limited number are produced of between 20 and 200. These are produced on request. Each one is signed and numbered by hand. This is visible on the lower edge on the paper print, but is on the edge of the canvas and will not be visible when stretched.

Reproductions are NOT created in canvas at the same size as the original painting.

Each print is supplied with its own matching print certificate.

Prints over 50 cm in measurement are large format prints and are signed and come with a print certificate. Canvas prints are signed on the back .Smaller prints are not signed.

To facilitate stretching a boarder of plain canvas, or black canvas (on the Still @ Home series) is added to the image edge.

The paper prints measurements are given as image size and paper size in case you wish to have a larger space around your image before a mount window is laid on top.

Sizes shown in room setting images are for illustrative purposes only /not necessarily to scale.

Please check sizes with a tape measure before ordering, remembering that the framing you select will add to the size.

All prints are delivered to our studio where they are then checked and packed ready for postage.

All prints are carefully wrapped and rolled and protected and packed in a protective postage tube.

Postage including insurance within Australia is included in your purchase.

International postage - please enquire via our contact form.

Our square print sizes on paper 25 x 25cm, 35 x 35cm, 50 x 50cm have been designed to suit standard off the shelf IKEA frames available world wide.
