Spend a relaxed, creative day in the studio with Fi, exploring, experimenting, and developing your own visual style.

This workshop is designed for anyone wanting to loosen up, try new materials, and build confidence in their creative process. You’ll be guided through the approach Fi uses in her own practice, with plenty of space to play and discover what feels right for you.

Bring along photos, sketches, or a small specimen that inspires you—botanical subjects work beautifully, but anything meaningful to you is welcome.

Throughout the day we’ll explore:

  • Simple observational drawing and sketching

  • Colour mixing and building a personal palette

  • Creating your own bespoke collage papers

  • Working with layered mixed media techniques

You’ll finish with a collection of small, resolved pieces that can be framed, developed further, or used as a starting point for future work.

We’ll also chat through ideas for displaying and presenting your work, so you leave with both inspiration and practical next steps.

We’ll wrap up the session together with a relaxed shared lunch and a glass of wine.

This is a small, supportive group—perfect whether you’re just starting out or looking to refresh and extend your practice.
