Create a ready to hang collage panel on a cradle board. Learn about creating pattern that works. Fi will work alongside you - to help as required. Use the  skills you learn at this workshop to develop your own design skills and continue to play with the concept with your own work.

WHAT WE DO:

This is a short session workshop.  

We will be creating a replica of one of these images during the workshop. You are free to choose your colour palette from existing papers created in Fi's studio.

This workshop can be offered to private groups on a date of your choice for  3 - 6 people.

WHAT'S INCLUDED:

*All art materials.
*Created as a ready to hang /cradle board panel similar to shown ( depending on availability)
*Use of apron
*Images shown as examples as what is possible with the same process. - different colours may be used by each participant.
*Complimentary Wine and nibbles.

WHAT WE DO:

Students will work with ready made painted papers to create a version of this design with its little birds. For the short session we will work on a smaller substrate  to allow completing in the time frame. Everyone will use similar colours but results will be unique to each maker.

ITS FOR YOU IF:

Beginners - you don't need any skills - you can use the format Fi explains to replicate a piece of her work.  Choose your own colour combinations, and work with a Magpie or Willy Wagtail bird motif.

You’ll just need an ability to follow instructions in English and the physical dexterity and eyesight to use scissors and glue.
**We aim to make this workshop as accessible as possible so if you have any physical constraints please let us know in advance and we can tweak the workshop for you.

This session is perfect for small groups of family or friends. If you have at least 4 in your group you may like to request your own date. 
Single participants are welcome to join existing groups. 

If a session is full email us to put your name on a waiting list incase of cancellations.

Everyone's outcome will be unique, and assured under Fi's experienced guidance - why not check out reviews of her workshop sessions on google. We all start where we are. There is always an opportunity to add our own ideas and we can always lean on Fi for some assistance.

Exploring different mediums is a great way to work out what really presses your creative buttons. Fi's projects are accessible to all kinds of participants, no matter your age or level of art making experience. If nothing else - spending time with others interested in the same activity is rewarding - and making space in your life to take part in something new or something you feel you have lost will always be rewarding.

We need a min of 3 people to run this workshop. The bookings will stay open until 7 days before  the  advertised date , if min numbers haven't been reached the workshops will (potentially ) be cancelled and all monies returned.

$50 admin fee for late cancellations / less than 7 days prior to date. Sorry no refund for cancellations less than 48 hours in advance.

Fi's workshops are designed to be accessible for participants of various abilities and levels of experience.

If you have 4 people that would like to attend you can select a date to suit you. We usually need 2 - 4 weeks advance booking. If a date already exists, you are welcome to join the group if there is space available. If you would like to hear about workshop availability please join our mailing list and keep an eye out on social media channels.

For larger groups or groups in special locations, Fi is happy to design a workshop for your group, this might be suited to a theme or personal ability. Yes we can travel to you. Price on application.

Fi's art experiences are designed to give you a positive and confidence building outcome while introducing you to techniques that you will be able to continue to work with independently. Everything is included unless otherwise stated - no expensive materials lists or purchases to make. They are known for being low stress, joyful occasions and a great way to spend time with a group of friends or family.

We offer workshops for groups of 4 to 8 people at Toot Studio in Margaret River, or 16 people in larger spaces. The number of participants may affect the duration of the workshop. Larger school group sessions will require additional studio assistants to be present (class teachers).
